Indie five-piece Wishy have announced the follow-up to their debut LP, Triple Seven, one of our favorite albums of 2024. Planet Popstar, their new EP, includes B-sides from the sessions that produced Triple Seven, and it’s due out on April 25 via Winspear. Vinyl copies will be pressed to two-sided 12-inches with the band’s 2023 EP Paradise on the B-side, as Paradise on Planet Popstar. See the cover art and tracklist below.

The EP includes the title track, and they’ve shared another new single, “Fly,” which keeps the fuzzy, ’90s-indebted sound from Triple Seven going. “This song conveys a general theme of enjoying the present, being in love, and not taking yourself too seriously,” vocalist Nina Pitchkites says. “Me, Kevin [Krauter], and Steve Marino co-wrote this song around the same time we wrote the track Triple Seven. It was one of several demos that Steve brought to the table for us to toy with.”
Wishy will be on tour supporting Momma starting in May, and you can see all dates below.
