The All-American Rejects have been in the midst of a comeback after returning from hiatus in 2022 and releasing a cover of Harvey Danger’s “Flagpole Sitta.” Now, they’re gearing up to support the Jonas Brothers on their massive stadium tour (yes, really), and they’ve just released the new single “Sandbox,” which serves as the first taste of what will be their first new album since 2012’s Kids in the Street. It finds the Rejects in no-frills power-pop mode, putting a fresh spin on the kind of catchy anthem that could’ve fit on Move Along or their self-titled debut. Check out the song and its Joseph Kahn-directed video below.
