In addition to fronting Circa Survive, L.S. Dunes, Saosin, the Sound of Animals Fighting, and other bands over the years, Anthony Green is also a prolific solo artist, and now he’s revisiting his 2008 debut solo album, Avalon, for a reworked version of the LP and a tour.
Titled So Long, Avalon, the new version of the album was produced and mixed by his longtime collaborator Keith Goodwin (of Good Old War and Days Away), and it’s said to “revisit the original songs with new ideas and approaches, shaped by 20 years of live performances, to capture the life they’ve taken on over time.” You can hear the new versions of two of the songs now, including album opener “She Loves Me So” and “Stonehearted Man.”

The album comes out on June 20 via Born Losers Records, and AltPress readers can pick up an exclusive, limited-to-250 clear with purple splatter vinyl variant in the AP Shop. You can see a mock-up of the variant at the bottom of this post.
