Earlier this year, Dream, Ivory — the duo of brothers Christian and Louie Baello — released a pair of singles called “Lost Angeles” and “At Zero.” As it turns out, those songs were an introduction to their next album, When You Come Back I Have So Much To Tell You, which arrives July 18.
The LP encompasses disruption and addiction, documenting their first time living together as adults after their parents returned to the Philippines. “You could even apply the title to the distance between your current self and your past self,” Louie shares. “There’s no one way to interpret it.”

Their latest, “Solar Eclipse,” describes an attraction between the sun and moon over their signature gauze, arriving alongside a blurred video filled with pinks, blues, and reds. Of the single, Louie adds, “‘Solar Eclipse’ is a song that tells the story of two lovers destined to reconnect. We wanted to explore a concept from nature as they find their way back to each other, using the idea of an eclipse to capture that emotional journey.” It’s also what makes their music so transportive, using fuzz-drenched yearning to evoke the feeling of being far from Earth.
