The Lost Boys is a horror-comedy flick about a group of biker vampires set in the late 1980s, which makes it incredibly appealing to metalheads and goths — even if its soundtrack leans harder on the latter subculture. The song choices in this film are such a huge part of its eerie, macabre atmosphere — from its weepy main theme, “Cry Little Sister,” to Echo and the Bunnymen’s haunting cover of The Doors’ “When You’re Strange.” This bunch of songs sets a dark mood no matter the season.
