Occasionally a band finds a way to combine elements of various genres that would not seem likely to work together and create something beautiful. In this case, Dance Gavin Dance has done exactly that and executed in a way that seems almost effortless. Their unique mixture of scream, funk and experimental music has given them that a sound is easily recognisable to many and has won them loyal fans across the world.
Since their formation in 2005 they have toured relentlessly with the likes of A Day To Remember, Of Mice & Men, Silverstein and many more. The band has appeared on the Vans Warped Tour and recently headlined the 2014 Rise Records Tour.
‘Instant Gratification’ is the bands 7th full length album. They re-enlisted the help of Kris Crummett for production who has worked on their previous records. Progressing with every release, these 12 songs are easily some of their best work to date and are sure to satisfy their existing fan base whilst propelling their growth to new heights.
