Turnstile recently announced their return, releasing the title track from their forthcoming album, NEVER ENOUGH (out June 6 via Roadrunner Records). That song was a bit of a departure for the band, leaning into their synthier side and then erupting into a stadium-sized anthem over five minutes. Today, they’ve shared two more songs, “SEEIN’ STARS” and “BIRDS,” with the former including vocals from Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes and Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

Both collaborations make total sense, as Hynes previously contributed to three cuts on 2021’s GLOW ON and played cello on “NEVER ENOUGH.” Meanwhile, Williams has championed Turnstile for years, feeling “a cool kinship between the way our bands do things… [They’re] one of the best bands in the world right now,” she told Zane Lowe in 2022. Brendan Yates even directed Paramore’s videos for “This Is Why” and “Thick Skull,” which are interconnected, while “HOLIDAY” soundtracked Good Dye Young’s METALHEADS ad in 2021.

As previously reported, Turnstile will play a NYC release show on June 5 at Under The K Bridge in Brooklyn, NY, where they’ll be joined by Teezo Touchdown, Boy Harsher, and Big Boy. The band also shared European tour dates for this summer, which include several festival appearances at Primavera Sound, Outbreak Fest, Hellfest, Glastonbury, and more. As for their U.S. dates, they’ll play Aftershock in October, but they’ve yet to reveal more, so stay tuned.
