Earlier this month, Turnstile simultaneously teased their return and a new member with a billboard in Los Angeles’ Silverlake neighborhood. Today, the Baltimore hardcore greats are making good on that (and bringing a little more TLC) by officially announcing their fourth studio album, NEVER ENOUGH, out June 6.
Recorded between LA and Baltimore, and produced by frontman Brendan Yates, the new LP builds on the momentum of the past few years. 2021’s GLOW ON widened the scope of hardcore, combining go-go music, Sly Stone references, and collaborations with Dev Hynes into an imaginative blend that shot them into the mainstream. Since then, they’ve toured arenas with blink-182, attended the Grammys (where they were nominated four times), and contributed a song to Tim Robinson’s I Think You Should Leave while influencing legions of new bands cropping up in the hardcore space.

Sometime during that album cycle, Meg Mills became a full-time member, replacing guitarist Brady Ebert and touring regularly with the band since 2023. Mills cut her teeth in the U.K.’s punk and hardcore scenes, playing with Big Cheese and Chubby and the Gang, and her inclusion makes their “blue era” even sweeter.
