The All-American Rejects have been playing places like bowling alleys, backyards, and barns on a viral house party tour as they prepare to release their first album since 2012’s Kids in the Street, and they’ve given us another taste of that LP with the anthemic “Easy Come, Easy Go.” They’ve been playing it at their recent intimate shows, and the claymation video was directed and animated by Justin Le Burgos of Rough N’ Tumble Productions. Frontman Tyson Ritter started an OnlyFans ahead of the single’s release, writing on Instagram, “This new record from the Rejects is something close to the bone for me lyrically, so why not bear it all. Get a taste of full frontal rock ‘n’ roll. Looking at you, Bert Reynolds.” A press release says that “Fans of the iconic band can subscribe to Ritter’s page for free to access the exclusive content. The musician has also promised a behind-the-scenes look at his life and songwriting, cameos from his bandmates, giveaways, and a backstage pass to the All-American Rejects’ upcoming tour with the Jonas Brothers.” He’ll also be dropping an alternate version of the new single there, “Easy Cum, Easy Go.”
“Easy Come, Easy Go” follows the band’s April single “Sandbox,” and in addition to supporting Jonas Brothers, they’re playing Shaky Knees, Aftershock, and the Long Beach edition of Warped Tour. See all dates here.
