Beloved Tokyo quartet ONE OK ROCK released their 11th studio album, DETOX, in February via Fueled By Ramen, coinciding with their 20th anniversary as a band.

In the wake of the new LP, frontman Takahiro Moriuchi filled us in on his favorite track. Though he likes “pretty much every song,” he’s drawn to the soaring “Tropical Therapy.” “Some people definitely need some chill or a rest if you’re having too much stress,” Moriuchi explains, stressing the need for positivity and repose in a chaotic world. “It’s hard at times living your life… Sometimes I need an escape from something, so [it’s] that type of song.” You can see that sentiment come to life in the visual directed by Alan Schaller, which starts off shadowy and then shifts into a cleaner white when the band arrive at the massive chorus.

ONE OK ROCK’s world tour kicks off in April and goes until September, culminating in two back-to-back shows at Nagai Stadium in Osaka. The run includes a support slot with Linkin Park for their Paris show on July 11. Meanwhile, Stand Atlantic will open their North American shows throughout May and June.
