Back in 2022, Momma broke out with their relentlessly fun third album, Household Name — an LP that played on rock star tropes while sharing DNA with ’90s heroes like Veruca Salt, Pavement, and Nirvana. Since then, they’ve released the standalone “Bang Bang” and toured the world, and today the Brooklyn four-piece are back with “Ohio All The Time.”
While the new song still possesses that gunky reverence for the ’90s, it’s also colored with shades of early 2000s alt-pop. In the accompanying video directed by Zack Shorrosh, the band jam out in a field next to an Ohio welcome sign, which pays tribute to a formative show at Columbus’ Athenaeum Theatre in 2022.

“We wrote it about a summer when we were on tour, and it felt like everything in our lives changed within a one-month span,” the band say as they gear up to support beabadoobee on her U.K. tour next month. “We wanted the video to capture that youthful feeling, like the world is brand new and everything is ahead of you. We went upstate to our friend’s house near Hudson to film and just spent the whole day goofing off and running around.”
