Following the release of the record as one-third of boygenius in 2023, Lucy Dacus has announced a new solo album. Forever is a Feeling, her fourth album, is due out on March 28 via Geffen Records. She wrote it between the fall of 2022 and last summer, and says, “I got kicked in the head with emotions. Falling in love, falling out of love,” adding, “You have to destroy things in order to create things. And I did destroy a really beautiful life.”

Both of Dacus’ boygenius bandmates, Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, feature on the album, as do Hozier, Blake Mills, Bartees Strange, Madison Cunningham, Collin Pastore, Jake Finch, and Jay Soms Melina Duterte. See the cover art below.
