Earlier this month, Linkin Park teased that they had a new track on the way — and now the nü-metal luminaries have confirmed that their first song since releasing their 2024 comeback LP, FROM ZERO, is called “Up From the Bottom,” due out March 27.
Linkin Park initially teased the forthcoming single through their LPTV FROM ZERO series on YouTube, with a recent world tour recap video ending with the sight of co-vocalists Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong hopping in the studio to put some work into a new track.

In the clip, after Armstrong does a little warm-up, Shinoda cues up some music, which his co-vocalist rasps out, “Sometimes it feels like.” And then the video abruptly ends.
Now, in a recent Instagram post, we get a few more snippets from the song. The full line is apparently “Sometimes it feels like I’ve been barely breathing.” The song itself hits a midtempo beat akin to FROM ZERO’s debut single “The Emptiness Machine.”
The Instagram post, which you can see below, also flips from the studio footage to a slick and cinematic snippet of what looks to be a forthcoming music video, where Shinoda raps “Everybody out, that devil is coming.”
Linkin Park resume their massive (and highly anticipated) 2025 world tour on April 26 at Austin’s Moody Center, giving the band their first opportunity to add “Up From the Bottom” to the setlist. See the rest of Linkin Park’s tour schedule here.
