Renowned photographer and skateboarder Atiba Jefferson has unmistakable raw and dynamic style, which he’s now injected into the music video for “New Money,” a brash, high-energy track from Eyedress’ sixth studio album, Stoner — his first major-label release, which dropped this spring.
Alongside the LA-based, Philippines-born artist, the video features collaborators Na-Kel Smith, skater, musician, and actor, and N8NOFACE, a synth-punk artist. In this gritty, rollicking video, the duo join Eyedress in paying homage to the punk, skate, and rage-driven countercultures that have deeply influenced each of their lives.

The “New Money” video expresses all of the above — unapologetically and at max volume. Jefferson, a perfect match for a message soaked in these subcultures, having captured musicians and skateboarders for over three decades to many accolades, delivers a charged and chaotic reflection of the artists’ roots. It tells the story of the scenes that shaped Eyedress from the start, and has since led us toward who he has become as an artist today.
