This is Tour Diary, where artists give us a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road. Earlier this year, Enumclaw returned with their second album, Home in Another Life — named after a phrase that frontman Aramis Johnson heard in London and couldn’t stop thinking about. The indie-rock band’s debut album, Save the Baby, proved their talent for writing fuzzy, swaggering indie-rock songs that reflected working-class realities, but the follow-up gets even more vulnerable, and Enumclaw recently took those songs to more than a dozen cities. Along the way, they played school cafeterias, reunited with KEXP, and improvised when their van broke down.
