Death Cab for Cutie’s fifth studio album, and major-label debut, Plans turns 20 in August, so the band will play the LP in its entirety later this year.
Boasting some of their most widely known songs, DCFC will bring Plans to just a handful of cities, including Seattle, Chicago, and Brooklyn this summer. The shows follow a sprawling, sold-out world tour in celebration of Transatlanticism and the Postal Service’s Give Up, where frontman Ben Gibbard pulled double duty onstage every night. Presale begins Thursday (Feb. 13) at 10 a.m. local time and will go on sale on Friday (Feb. 14) at 10 a.m. local time for Seattle and NYC and 9 a.m. CT for Chicago.
