Warped Tour has continued to roll out daily lineup additions since announcing its 30th anniversary shows, and Avril Lavigne will take the stage for the first time at the Washington, D.C. stop in June.
While Lavigne has been busy with her Greatest Hits tour — including a second round that begins in May — the 2000s pop-punk veteran left just enough room between her Missouri and North Carolina dates. She’ll perform June 14-15, joining 3OH!3, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Pennywise, Dance Hall Crashers, Simple Plan (who’ve been opening her tour more than 20 years after joining her first headliner), and others in D.C. “So many of the bands I grew up listening to got their start playing this legendary tour, and many of my friends are nostalgic for those parking lot summers, so I’m excited to be a part of this new rendition,” Lavigne told Rolling Stone.

The D.C. stop marks the first of three shows for this year’s Warped Tour comeback, with dozens more set to play in Long Beach, California (July 26-27) and Orlando, Florida (Nov. 15-16) as part of the festival’s 30-year celebration.
