Black Polish — aka Jayden Binnix — wants everyone to explore the darker parts of themselves on YUNA. The new album, which is their first full-length since 2024’s Forest, is out Oct. 29 via BMG and centers on Black Polish toeing the line between reality and make-believe.
YUNA is the namesake for Binnix’s alter ego, “Yuna,” who is a man-eating demon that allows Black Polish to embody their hyperfeminine powers and act on their most forbidden desires. “I have spent years creating a world centered around this demon who has haunted me in my sleep,” Binnix explains. “Through all the torment came this record filled with love, lust, and new maturity.”

Alongside the album announcement, Black Polish has released YUNA’s new single, “LUSH,” and its accompanying video. The track, which follows “BONDAGE” and “BE WITH YOU,” sees Black Polish chasing a doomed relationship because it feels both intoxicating and familiar. The video shows Black Polish at a beach in the evening with mascara running down their face, seemingly struggling between the push and pull of the chaos around them. “I don’t talk to anyone, knowing I won’t hear what’s good for me,” Binnix shares. “If dysfunction is all you know, naturally, you’ll gravitate toward the familiar. Ignoring the fact that this will ultimately fail creates the illusion of freedom so you can experience a relationship without feeling trapped.”
