Watch Australian duo for KING & COUNTRY perform their song “Fix My Eyes” during a live recording session at the historic Grand Victor Sound Nashville. The band are fresh off winning two trophies at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
“'Fix My Eyes' was in fact the first song we wrote for RUN WILD. LIVE FREE. LOVE STRONG,” says Joel Smallbone. “It was written during a moment of mayhem. I was walking through a dark period with my girlfriend at the time, and Luke had just been diagnosed with a digestive disorder. We asked ourselves some honest questions in that moment, and came up with a list of how we would want to be as men and musicians. That list became the heartbeat of “Fix My Eyes.”
Luke Smallbone adds, “Everyone from Elvis to Ben Folds has recorded in the historic RCA Studios in Nashville. So to not only record 'Fix My Eyes' in there, but to film it there was quite a privilege. You could almost sense the energy and history in the room, which made it extra special for us!”
