These items on Starbucks’ new 2021 winter menu are staying for good

Starbucks‘ festive winter cups have come and gone which means a new menu of tasty treats has finally arrived.

This time around, however, the coffee chain’s 2021 winter menu includes a few items that are staying around for good.

After Starbucks launched its winter 2020 menu back in November, the company faced some backlash after a few festive favorites were missing from it. Now, it looks like Starbucks is trying to make up for the controversial decision.

This week, Starbucks has officially launched its new 2021 winter menu that includes plenty of sweet new treats for customers to try. As well, two menu items are staying around for good.

To start off, locations nationwide now have the Pistachio Latte which is available hot, iced or blended.

“Sweet flavors of pistachio pairs with Starbucks^® Signature Espresso and steamed milk,” the drink description says. “Then finished with a salted brown buttery topping for a cozy beverage crafted to comfort.”

As well, the new menu also includes another non-dairy beverage. The Honey Almondmilk Cold Brew is “made with Starbucks Cold Brew, combined with honey, then topped with almondmilk for a creamy finish.”

The 2021 winter menu also has a few new sweet treats to help customers get through these cold months ahead. The Red Velvet Loaf is “vanilla cake swirled with classic red velvet cake.” To give it some extra sweetness, the slice is topped with a white chocolate icing.

Cake pop enthusiasts also have a new item to try this winter. The Earth Cake Pop is a rich chocolate cake, dipped in blue chocolaty icing. It’s then finished off with green and white sprinkles to help resemble the Earth.

The Honey Almondmilk Flat White is a perfect blend of Starbucks’ Blonde Espresso, honey and almondmik. It’s one of the coffee chain’s latest non-dairy drinks to be added to the menu permanently.

The Kale and Portabella Mushroom Sous Vide Egg Bites are a perfect snack for any time of day. With chopped kale and portabella mushrooms, these egg bites use cage-free eggs and Monterey Jack cheese to give it a distinct flavor. As well, these egg bites run under 250 calories.
