The Strokes have announced their new album, Reality Awaits, out this summer. The follow-up to The New Abnormal will be their first in six years.
The news was announced on Instagram with a video that looks like an old car ad. It reads, “In the flesh, it’s even sexier,” teased with music that could be from the upcoming full-length.

On the weekend, the Strokes performed a surprise show at the Warfield in San Francisco with Alex Cameron ahead of their bigger show at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium tonight. The Strokes will play Coachella this weekend before a handful of festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and more.
