The Maine will headline the fifth year of their own 8123 Fest over the weekend, but before that happens, the band have surprise-released a new album called dyed (2008-2023).
Self-produced by John O’Callaghan, the LP features nine new cuts pulled from the vault. Each was devised from a demo that was left behind throughout every album — ultimately representing all the distinctive eras of the band. Even the artwork mirrors the colors that have donned their records, accompanied by specific dates within the song titles.

“Revisiting the past can stir up all sorts of feelings,” O’Callaghan says. “Nostalgia, fondness, gratitude, and on and on and on. We felt everything in between when we uncovered these songs from over the last few decades, and sincerely hope they stir up anything of the sort for you while listening!”
