After receiving a confirmation last spring that Super Troopers would be getting a sequel, it’s been reported by Broken Lizard that the film is finally in production. (via Consequence Of Sound)

The film was budgeted by an IndieGoGo campaign, which raised over $4.5 million dollars, making it the second most successful crowdfunded film of all time, behind Veronica Mars’ $5.7 million Kickstarter.
The sequel comes 15 years after the original Super Troopers hit theaters.
