State Champs released a new video for their song “(For The) Hell Of It.” The track is a reimagined, stripped-down version of “Hell Of It” from their self-titled fifth record, released last year via Pure Noise. The visual for the song features the band venturing around Los Angeles, reflecting on the growth they’ve had over the past 15 years.
“The reimagined version of ‘Hell Of It’ was a fun process, getting to experiment with different elements of production and approach everything from a different perspective sonically,” frontman Derek DiScanio exclusively tells AP. “Also, having a chance to resing it and try some new runs and ad-libs was a huge bonus. The music video is behind-the-scenes lifestyle clips of us filming around the city and the hills of Los Angeles.”

Ahead of their appearance at Warped Tour Orlando, State Champs are currently on an intimate tour, playing small club shows. Early next year, they’ll celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album Around The World And Back with a tour, including a hometown show in Albany, New York, with support from Cartel, Real Friends, Broadside, and others.
