Sydney hardcore outfit SPEED left a mark with last year’s ONLY ONE MODE, which pushed the boundaries of their blindingly fast sound while giving into moments of groove and shouting out the community that raised them. They toured those songs last summer, joining Have Heart’s reunion shows and playing a record release gig in LA as part of Sound and Fury 2024’s weekend kickoff, and now they’re returning to North America for a spring headlining run.
Though SPEED will play a couple of shows between Coachella weekends in April, the tour doesn’t officially commence until May. Following their appearance at Sonic Temple in Columbus, the band will head out to Canada and work their way across the U.S., stopping by more than a dozen cities. They’ll end the run on June 1 at Detroit’s Tied Down Fest. Whispers will join most of the shows, plus Haywire and Gorilla Biscuits at select dates.
