When Canadian post-hardcore veterans Silverstein headed to Joshua Tree to cut a new album last year, they narrowed down 25 demos into two separate releases. They’ve just shared the first part, Antibloom, and the other, Pink Moon, will arrive later this year.

“I threw [Antibloom] on for the first time since it was mastered, and honestly I had forgotten just how many layers it has,” frontman Shane Told exclusively tells AP. “We really poured our hearts and souls into this thing, and listening back, it just hits me in so many different ways. Some songs make me want to break shit. Other songs I just want to dance around the room, and a couple are just straight-up sad. And it’s cool because this is really just part one.  We have the second album coming out later in the year, and it has some of the best songs on it. 2025 is the Year of the Stein.”

Silverstein just wrapped the first leg of their 25 Years of Noise Tour with Thursday and Split Chain, but they’ll pick back up next week in the U.K. They’ll then travel back to the U.S. for another run of dates throughout April and May, plus stop by Warped Tour’s D.C. and Long Beach iterations in the summer.
