Show Me The Body have released their official cover of Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage.” From Beastie Boys’ 1994 album, Ill Communication, “Sabotage” has become a mainstay in Show Me The Body’s recent live performances. Setlist.fm has recorded that the band have played the track at least 27 times over the past two years, dating back to a surprise show at Tompkins Square Park in August 2023.
Alongside the cover, Show Me The Body created a video for the song in collaboration with independent news organization Popular Front. In it, visuals of the band’s pop-up performance at London’s Southwark Park are juxtaposed alongside archival footage of protests and armed conflicts, provided by Popular Front.

“I support and consume independent journalism in general, but full disclosure, I am a straight-up fan of Popular Front,” singer Julian Cashwan Pratt explains. “Their crew does hard work to tell true stories or, as they put it, ‘honest reporting.’ To work together on ‘Sabotage’ is a self-fulfilling prophecy. New York band with a New York song reaching out to the world at war with a message of love and solidarity.”
Show Me The Body will share a special 10th anniversary edition vinyl of their 2016 album, Body War, and a release show is happening Oct. 17 at 99 Scott in Brooklyn, where Baby Osama, Roc Marciano, Wiki, Fatal Realm, and Ferment will also perform.
