Over the weekend, My Chemical Romance dropped a mysterious teaser video featuring the word “PHANTOM” written in green and flashing. The video, which has no sound, included the caption “A GAME YOU WILL PLAY.”
Fans are thinking it could be anything from a 25th anniversary remastering of their debut full-length, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, new extended lyrics to “Welcome To The Black Parade,” merch, or a new album.

The post comes ahead of the band’s first performance of 2026 on The Black Parade Tour, which they extended to mark the 20th anniversary of their beloved 2006 album. The show last night differed from previous iterations of the tour, including an updated set design, new characters and costumes, and a new storyline set in what appeared to be a hospital or a jail. During “Blood,” Gerard Way jumped on top of The Clerk’s bed and stabbed him multiple times.
