L.S. Dunes, the post-hardcore supergroup made up of Anthony Green, Frank Iero, Travis Stever, Tim Payne, and Tucker Rule, unleashed a searing debut that became their lifeline in 2022, and now they’re following it up with Violet. The LP arrives Jan. 31 via Fantasy Records.
Just like their first LP, Violet was co-produced and mixed by Will Yip (“this generation’s Rick Rubin,” Green describes) and includes the recent song “Fatal Deluxe,” plus their latest single “Machines.” The latter comes with a video directed by David Brodsky and Iero that spoofs a late-night talk show appearance.

Of the new album, Stever says, “Violet is a sonic journey into the depths of every band member of L.S. Dunes. The collaborative efforts to bring each song to a full potential came naturally. It’s the album that has always lived in us individually but could only be made together. It has melodies that have lived within me since I was a child. It was only with this band I would be able to find a place where they could find a home in a song.”
