While we await official word on the long-awaited new Loathe album, we did just get their first new song since releasing “Dimorphous Display” over three years ago. The new song is a lengthy, genre-crossing track called “Gifted Every Strength” that touches on metal, shoegaze, industrial, prog, and more throughout its six-plus-minute runtime.

Loathe have been opening their sets on their current tour with Spiritbox and Dying Wish with this song, and they also recently played a last-minute headlining show in Brooklyn that featured “Gifted Every Strength” and another unreleased new song. Stay tuned to hopefully hear more from Loathe soon.
