I Promised The World have released their self-titled EP, out via Rise Records. The five-track EP was recorded at Timber Studios in New Jersey with Jon Markson (Drug Church, Drain) and Adam Cichocki.
The band, formed following the death of vocalist/guitarist Caleb Molina’s father in 2020, were a manifestation of Molina’s grief, using music as a means to express himself. With the self-titled EP, the band are choosing to use it as a celebration of Molina’s father’s life. The songs, which blend screamo, post-hardcore, and emo, reflect a conscious shift by choosing one’s path and future, rather than waiting for it to come to you.

Last month, I Promised The World released the video for “A Pure Expression,” featuring the band performing in a stark white room. When the chorus hits, the band become silhouettes against the same orange shade from their EP art.
The band just began a tour with Sky Came Falling and Rosasharin. Later this spring, they’ll embark on a run supporting the Devil Wears Prada alongside Four Year Strong and Split Chain.
