London punk five-piece High Vis have officially announced their new album, Guided Tour, which comes out Oct. 18 via Dais Records while the band are on tour with Show Me the Body.
The LP includes their working-class anthem “Mob DLA,” and today the group are sharing the supremely innovative, house-inspired song “Mind’s a Lie.” The single arrives with a movie-quality video that was written and directed by Martina Pastori and stars Welsh movement artist Sem Osian. Shot throughout South East London, the visual delves into themes of class, anger, and isolation, culminating with Osian and vocalist Graham Sayle duking it out in the boxing ring.

“I wanted to look at how quickly negative habits can take control when you lack a positive or constructive outlet for your energy,” Sayle says of the video. “While the language of mental health provision has found fertile ground in the churn of social media, access to essential services has been decimated by the indifference of successive Tory governments. Further division has been stoked through governmental rhetoric and media scapegoating. Without adequate support in times of crisis, life can quickly spiral into an angry and isolated existence.”
