Harmony Tividad, formerly of Girlpool, has announced her new album, Lifetime, out June 26 via KRO Records. Lifetime is shaped around coming of age in today’s world, with executive production by Yves Rothman.
“As a child, I had been obsessed with pop music and pop culture, but I felt like such a reject in LA that I grew to hate the things that I loved,” Tividad told AP in 2023. “I think as I’ve grown older, I’ve overcome the perception I had of myself not having space or being allowed in mainstream media. My ability to accept and want to do certain things has changed. I was an outcast as a kid, and I think it impacted my brain in a way that was just so ridiculous. Now, doing this feels like a part of myself I haven’t gotten to express yet. Finally, I have made peace with wanting to express it.”

Lead single “I’m Still Learning How to Leave You” begins softly as Tividad details the breakdown of a relationship. The chorus bursts with a cathartic release as she realizes it’s over despite being stuck in it. The video, directed by Hannah De Vries, features Tividad in different vignettes across California, including waving a white flag at the beach and parading around Salvation Mountain.
