It’s shaping up to be a busy fall for Flycatcher. Following the announcement of their debut album, Wrench, the New Jersey band just dropped their next single, “Flood.” The track, which follows previously released singles “Truth,” “Dissolve,” and “Brother,” was initially almost left off the record. “Flood” finds the band doubling down on their decision to follow music despite the odds stacked against them, explaining that they couldn’t choose a different career even if they wanted to.
Wrench, which is out Oct. 24, will be released through Will Yip’s label, Memory Music. “This project has been so many years in the making, with some of these songs dating back to 2018,” the band shared on Instagram. “So grateful for the trust and support that Will and the Memory Music Label crew have given us.” The album also includes a feature by Brianna Collins of Tigers Jaw on “Man on the Run.”
