Death Lens have announced their new album, What’s Left Now?, out April 24 via Epitaph. Written about the band’s own lived experience, the LP explores the setbacks that they survived growing up in working-class families. “After all the struggles, all the loss, all the chaos, what’s left?” vocalist Bryan Torres says. “Are we gonna make it? I know that’s a question every musician asks.”
They also shared “Monolith,” the opening track to What’s Left Now?. The song begins with Torres singing in Spanish, a nod to the same traditional Hispanic music the band grew up listening to. From that point, the track erupts into a flurry of guitars and howls.

“Born with stones in my hands, I carry the weight my parents left behind,” Torres says. “Forged under pressure, hardened by everything I had no choice but to bear. ‘Monolith’ is born from a lifetime of hardship, weight, and repetition. It’s my revelation that the role life gives you isn’t the only one you have to play. A testament to how being born with nothing became the source of my strength.”
