Comet, who we named as one of the 25 most exciting rising artists to watch in 2025, has announced a new EP. Quitter, the follow-up to 2023’s Two-Winged is due out on May 16. It was produced by Richard Orofino of Sex Week, and you can see the cover art below.
“This EP is my side-step into the world of pop-rock,” Comet says. “I’ve written a lot of heavy music, and this set of songs is my silver lining among the rubble. Being a ‘quitter’ means letting go of something you know wasn’t meant for you. So many people spend their whole lives appeasing others. More people should quit everything and live for themselves.”
The first single is “Opium,” which is accompanied by a Fiona Kane-directed video. Watch it below.
