This is Tour Diary, where artists give us a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road. In April, Arcadia Grey wrapped their run with glass beach and Fleece Kawasaki, where they hit over a dozen cities. As the fifth-wave emo crew prepare to release their new album, Casually Crashing, out tomorrow via Smartpunk Records, they gave us deeper insight behind the tour, which included camping in suboptimal temperatures, seeing the Grand Canyon, and toting around an unplayed Oppenheimer Blu-ray.

Our first show of tour was in Seattle. We had a three-day drive from Chicago. We decided it would be fun to camp three nights there… in mid-March… in 28 degree weather. We were frozen. (Nat Breeden)

After the tour ended with glass beach, we had a 27-hour drive back home. We treated ourselves by visiting the Grand Canyon and basking in the beauty of the world. Feeling accomplished from an amazing tour. (Nat Breeden)
