This September, Alternative Press and Marshall will team up in NYC and LA to host two live music showcases celebrating community, emerging artists, and AP’s Fall 2024 Issue.
Running from 7-10 p.m., these events are free to the public with an RSVP — first come, first served. Arrive early: There will be more surprises from Marshall and AltPress on site, while supplies last. Plus, be one of the first to see AP’s new Fall 2024 Issue.

Sept. 13 at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right will feature beloved alternative acts from New York and surrounding areas — including independent emo-folk outfit Dirt Buyer, Iranian-American alt-rock artist Taraneh, and beloved Philly emo band Sweet Pill, alongside charged DJ sets by buzzy electronic artist Body Meat. Then on Sept. 27 at Zebulon in Los Angeles, the two brands will host a second showcase, harnessing a lineup of notable West Coast alternative musicians. To the rhythm of artist Sam Austins’ DJing, the event will feature Reckling, playing nothing but pure punk rock, Oakland’s disruptive, bluesy alt-rocker KING ISIS, and indie post-punk act Slow Hollows.
